Paleo/Zone Challenge: Day 3

“Crossfit Total”

Back squat, 1 rep
Shoulder Press, 1 rep
Deadlift, 1 rep

This is a mandatory workout for everyone competing in the challenge.

I love this WOD... love love love it. Tomorrow will probably be depressing however, as my total has no doubt plummeted. No dairy or grains for two straight days.... so far so good.

Good Job Audrey!!! We had a couple guys do this last night. If they would have done last nights WOD instead... omg.. the pain!!!

If those guys come back tonight, you can do the WOD from yesterday.. it's a unique week. We'll make it happen!!!

Here is a little more description for this as well. For a LEGIT CFT, you have 3 *THREE* chances to get your max 1 REP! That mean to do a good warm-up. Then start your 3 sets of 1.

If you know your 1RM (max 1 rep), then usually start with 80% of that for your first set after a good warm-up.

Your next set should tie your PR. That saves your third set for a new PR or a fail.

You can write it down in your log book like this.

BS: 285, 315(old PR), 325 (fail)

so my score would be 315.

Do this for all 3 lifts, then you add them up for a final score.

So my total dropped by 40lbs due to my haitus but that's ok. I am super stoked about my shoulder press though. I have been trying to get 85# FOREVER

Thanks Mel! I miss you too. Lots! I can't believe I'm gonna have to wait so freakin long for your return. But at least I'll be more fit by then :) Can't wait for Paleo Superbowl hahahaah

BS 285 (NO PR due to flexibility-not getting my butt down far enough)
DL 385 (PR 405 failed)
Total: 825

Did good on BS and the rest were okay after being gone from CF for a while.
